Ruben Neves: All you need to know about star linked with summer move
Arsenal could make a move for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves late in the transfer window, according to reports. Neves was linked with a move to Arsenal earlier in the summer and has recently been rumoured to be a target for Manchester United. The Red Devils could be in the market for a midfielder if contract rebel Paul Pogba leaves the club.
Arsenal have made two signings so far this summer, bringing in left-back Nuno Tavares and midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Sambi Lokonga, 21, has impressed in his first couple of appearances in pre-season.
But with Granit Xhaka's future at the club uncertain, as Roma continue to try and sign the Switzerland star, Mikel Arteta could seek to bring in a more experienced head.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Neves is neither Arsenal's or United's first-choice signing.

However, he claims the Gunners could make a move for the 24-year-old in the closing stages of the window.
Romano told the Don Robbie YouTube channel: “I continue saying that he’s in the list for Arsenal. Also because the [Manuel] Locatelli deal is getting more complicated.
“So he’s on the list for Arsenal, but he’s not the main option as of today. We have to consider him as an opportunity maybe in August.
“There is nothing imminent, but it is something to keep an eye on in August for both clubs, United and Arsenal.

"Martinez on his day is a wonderful player," Robson told ESPN FC.
"Good with his back to goal, got that bit of pace, he can score a goal as well.
"But I'm going to put him in the same sort of category as Morata.
"Because on his day he can beat anybody but he has too many days where he looks as though he's lost his confidence, and once he loses his confidence he just doesn't get involved in the game and he starts to not hold the ball up, starts to look weak.
"But on his day he's an outstanding player. Whether he has enough outstanding days if he went to Arsenal, I'm not sure, because they're not a top side at the moment."
