Arsenal: First fixtures of 2021/22 Premier League season
Arsenal are close to finalising a deal that will see Konstantinos Mavropanos join Stuttgart on a permanent transfer in the coming days, Express Sport understands. The Greek centre-back arrived in north London from PAS Giannina back in 2018 but has spent time out on loan in Germany with FC Nurnberg and Stuttgart.
Mavropanos has caught the eye this season at the Mercedes-Benz Arena but still he does not remain part of Mikel Arteta's plans moving forward.
Now the Gunners are set to cash in on the 23-year-old and sources have told Express Sport a permanent move to Germany is now only a matter of days away.
Arsenal are looking to recoup around £7million for the player but they are expected to settle for slightly less than that figure.
Furthermore, Matteo Guendouzi is also edging closer to a move away with Marseille now on course to snap up the midfielder following his loan spell at Hertha Berlin last season.

Arteta was angered by the way Guendouzi conducted himself and ordered him to train away from the first-team squad.
With Arsenal keen on making several big acquisitions to their squad, the club will need to continue raising funds through player sales.
The Gunners laughed off a £25million offer this afternoon from Aston Villa for Emile Smith Rowe.

A bid of £40million was rejected this afternoon by Brighton for defender Ben White.
Anderlecht also rejected a £13.5million offer for 21-year-old midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is also a target.
