Chelsea: Tuchel responds to 'squeaky-bum time' question
Maxence Lacroix has broken his silence on reports linking him with a move to Chelsea in the summer. Thomas Tuchel has earned high praise since taking over from Frank Lampard in January, particularly due to Chelsea's improved defensive record.
The German head coach changed the system to play three at the back with two full-backs pushing higher up the pitch.
Antonio Rudiger has seen his Stamford Bridge career revived with the likes of Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma also playing alongside him.
But it appears as though Tuchel wants to bring in more defensive recruits this summer with Lacroix emerging as a top target.
The 21-year-old has proven to be one of the rising stars of this season in the Bundesliga with some solid displays at the back for Wolfsburg.

Lacroix only joined Wolfsburg a year ago but Chelsea have seemingly seen enough to try and test the Bundesliga outfit with an offer.
It is claimed that Wolfsburg are looking for around £26million should Lacroix indicate he wants to leave.
But the defender has now spoken out on the rumours linking him with Chelsea, insisting he is happy at Wolfsburg.
“I see [the rumours], but I refer those matters to my advisor because I want to concentrate on my work here at Wolfsburg and want to do a good job here," he told Sport Buzzer.
“I’m with VfL and qualified for the Champions League with the club. I’m very happy here.
“I still have a three-year contract here and am very satisfied.
“Sure, things can always happen quickly in football, but again: I feel very comfortable at VfL and there is absolutely no reason to think about other things."
However, Lacroix did namedrop the Blues when asked to name who he sees as the best teams in Europe at the moment.
