Bayern Munich boss Flick wanted to sign three Chelsea players before Christian Pulisic
Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic but he is not the only Blues player to have interested them in the past year.

Hansi Flick has confirmed that he was keen on bringing Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz to Bavaria last summer but moves for all three players failed to materialise. The Bayern boss led his side to a memorable treble last season as the European champions conquered all before them en route to Club World Cup glory in December.

But Flick has since defused talk of a rift, while admitting that all three Chelsea players were among the names under consideration.
“It is always said that Hudson-Odoi and [Serginho] Dest were my desired players, but they were our desired players," he told Sky Germany.
“We decided that we wanted to add players for the wide areas and that is what we did. Havertz, Werner and Sane were mentioned, I would have loved to have all three, but we all decided on Sane. He’s a player who makes a difference.”
Bayern made as many as four bids for Hudson-Odoi in 2019 but failed to entice Chelsea into a sale.

They then returned to the negotiating table last summer as looked to secure a loan deal but Marina Granovskaia was having none of it.
Havertz became unaffordable for Bayern once Bayer Leverkusen revealed their asking price, while Werner was set on a move to the Premier League.
Now it's claimed that Bayern are amongst the potential interested parties when it comes to the future of Christian Pulisic.
The United States international knows the Bundesliga well from his time with Borussia Dortmund of course.

He has struggled for game time since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, who worked with him at Signal Iduna Park.
Pulisic looks set to consider his future at the end of the season, should he still not be playing regularly.
Chelsea are reluctant to sell the forward with Manchester United and Liverpool both reportedly circling.
