Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may well make it clear this week on what his first port of call will be in the summer transfer window. Manchester United face two crucial cup matches against AC Milan and Leicester which could determine whether this season has been a success or not.
With Manchester City the runaway leaders in the Premier League, there is growing pressure on United to win a trophy in either - or both - of the Europa League and FA Cup.
They suffered a setback in their Europa League last-16 tie against Milan with the Italian side scoring a late goal in the first leg to give them the away-goal advantage.
And Leicester looked in excellent form in their 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United on Sunday while they'll have a week's rest before their FA Cup quarter-final against the Red Devils.
Solskjaer will be hoping to have a number of players back from previously being unavailable this week, particularly up front with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial not fit enought to face West Ham at the weekend.
The Spaniard was allowed to return to his native country in Spain to be by his wife's side for the birth of his newborn baby.
His absence has given Dean Henderson a chance to stake his claim as United's No 1 with a run of games.
And the England international has impressed since coming in as a regular starter, including his performance in the 2-0 win over Manchester City.
Rumours have been rife that Solskjaer will need to make a decision on who his No 1 will be heading into next season with Henderson said to be unhappy about the prospect of another campaign as the back-up option.

David de Gea should return to training today (Image: GETTY)
Solskjaer admitted earlier this month that he still expects De Gea to be "available" as soon as possible, suggesting that he wants the Spain international to come straight back into the starting line-up.
If De Gea does get the nod in both games against Milan and Leicester, then Henderson may well see that as a direct challenge to his position heading into next season.
But if Solskjaer sticks with the 24-year-old, then that may well suggest that De Gea's time at Old Trafford is set to come to an end.
There's only a few months left of the season, but it appears as though choosing his No 1 goalkeeper for next season will be the first point of call for Solskjaer in the summer transfer window.
