Shkodran Mustafi left Arsenal to join Schalke in the January transfer window.
Arsenal v Tottenham: Premier League match preview
Shkodran Mustafi had a performance to forget in Schalke's 5-0 defeat to Wolfsburg on Saturday - and he got the ball rolling for the visitors with a gift. Mustafi failed to win over the majority of Arsenal fans before he left the club in January.
The centre-back was susceptible to making a number of mistakes at the back throughout his career at the Emirates.
The 28-year-old was keen to start a new chapter in Germany though, joining Schalke in January.
But it's been anything but plain-sailing for the defender since his move with Schalke yet to win since Mustafi has joined.
They sit rooted to the bottom of the table with the league's worst defence by a wide margin.

And Mustafi played his part against Wolfsburg on Saturday in comical fashion with an unfortunate own goal.
The German defender had failed to clear a cross from out wide before the ball was touched back into the box and into the air.
Mustafi reacted by bizarrely choosing to nod the ball back to Frederik Ronnow, who clearly wasn't expecting it.
The Schalke goalkeeper was forced to try and scramble back to the right of his goal but he couldn't prevent the ball going in the back of the net.

Mustafi stood their motionless as he realised what he had just done before walking back into position while continuously shaking his head in disappointment.
BT Sport's commentating team compounded Mustafi's mistake by labelling it as a "moment of madness".
Schalke went in 1-0 down at half-time but the hosts stepped up their attack in the second half.
Goals from Wout Weghorst, Ridle Baku, Josip Brekalo and Maximilian Philipp gave Wolfsburg a resounding 5-0 victory.
Schalke are now 11 points adrift from safety having won just one game all season long.
