Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has warned Aaron Wan-Bissaka that Diogo Dalot will challenge him for his spot next season. Dalot is currently on loan at AC Milan and played against his parent club in the Europa League last-16 first-leg tie on Thursday. Dalot played at left-back for the visitors but has played the majority of his football on the opposite side of defence.
Dalot played just 11 matches in all competitions for United last season so joined Milan in search of regular first-team football.
The Serie A side grabbed a late equaliser at Old Trafford, with Dean Henderson unable to keep out Simon Kjaer's stoppage-time header.
Scholes was impressed with Dalot, both on the pitch and in his post-match interview.
The former midfielder claims the 21-year-old is better going forward than Wan-Bissaka and expects him to challenge for the right-back spot next season.

"He does seem a really good lad, speaks well," Scholes said on BT Sport.
"He's done the right thing to get games at a big club. That will do him the world of good.
"He played in an unfamiliar position tonight, on that left side, but even his crossing with his left foot was brilliant. I thought defensively he did everything he had to do.
"Where does he stand now? I think he'll come back at the end of the season.
