Chelsea: Lampard confident he can cope with pressure
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has responded to Blues fans urging Roman Abramovich to keep him at the club. Lampard is under mounting pressure at Stamford Bridge, but Blues fans seem to be behind the head coach.

He said: “Players will always make you a good or bad or in between manager.
“So you have to have a buy in from the dressing room.
“My opinion is football is whatever percent tactics but much bigger percentage of environment and drive and positivity and desire and all those things that create the basics of football so that’s important.
“In terms of the banner, I absolutely appreciate the fans that put together to create the banner.

“I think everyone who knows me or watched me as a player or manager knows how I feel about this club so I appreciate it very much.”
Lampard also dismissed speculation that he was struggling to cope with the pressure, having never faced adversity like this in his managerial career.
He expressed that his playing career has prepared him for positions like this, and that he was confident.
Lampard continued: “My concern is not the pressure on me because I can deal with it because I’ve been in football a long, long time as a player at a top club so I understand how it goes.”
