World Cup qualifying draw 2022: Start time, TV channel, live stream - how to watch
World Cup qualifying is due to get underway soon but not before the draw takes place. Express Sport is on hand with the date, start time and TV information for European qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
Qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is ready to begin early next year, with 55 countries competing for the 13 European spots that are available. The nations will be split into six pots, with 10 teams in the first five pots and five teams in the sixth pot.
From there, the teams will be drawn into 10 qualifying groups.
Groups A to E will consist of five teams each, with six teams in each of Groups F to J.
The pots have been determined using the latest FIFA world rankings.
Belgium have been made the top-seeded team in Pot 1, where they will be joined by France, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.

When is the World Cup qualifying draw?
The draw will take place on Monday, December 7 in Zurich, Switzerland.
Rather than the traditional ceremony, COVID-19 restrictions mean draw will be conducted as a virtual event.

The World Cup qualifying draw is scheduled to start at 5pm GMT.

Countries withing their group will play each other twice.
The qualifying campaign will run between March and November 2021.
