Chelsea: Frank Lampard reacts to 3-0 win over Rennes
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has confirmed Christian Pulisic is not fit to return against West Brom this weekend and there are some concerns about his level of recovery. Pulisic was all set to start last week against Burnley but he picked up an injury during the warm-up before the game.
He had to be replaced just 10 minutes before kick-off with Timo Werner coming in to take his place.
Speaking earlier this week, Lampard admitted his relief after a scan revealed no serious damage to Pulisic's hamstring.
“Christian had a scan yesterday that showed a very, very minor injury to his hamstring, very minor,” the Chelsea boss said.
He wasn't available for the game against Rennes this week, but there was optimism he would return in time to face West Brom.

They've won three games on the bounce, scoring 10 goals in the process while keeping a clean sheet each of their last five matches.
