Chelsea transfer shortlist: The five players Lampard and Granovskaia want to sign
Chelsea transfer news is hotting up - but who is on Frank Lampard and Marina Granovskaia's shortlist?
Chelsea: Pundit addresses possible transfer rumours
Chelsea acted early in the transfer market with the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech. Werner has joined for £47.5million from RB Leipzig, while Ziyech cost £36m from Ajax.
But after leading the Blues to a top-four finish in his first season as a Premier League manager, Frank Lampard will be hoping transfer chief Marina Granovskaia can deliver more of his targets.
Who is on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist?
Kai Havertz, Bayer Leverkusen
Havertz has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one Europe’s biggest young prospects, with 18 goals and nine assists in all competition last term.
Chelsea and Leverkusen appeared to differ on their valuations of the player but the Blues are now said to be confident of concluding a deal ‘in the next few days’.

Thiago Silva, free agent
Silva is now a free agent after leaving PSG following the Champions League final.
And Chelsea have reportedly offered the Brazilian centre-back a one-year contract.
He turns 36 next month but Lampard is keen to strengthen his defence and Silva would bring plenty of experience.

Ben Chilwell, Leicester
Chelsea are reportedly in the market for a new long-term left-back in this window.
Chilwell has emerged as a top target for that role and Sky Sports cites a source as saying the £50million deal is "almost there".
However, the move could be reliant on the extent of his heel injury, with the 23-year-old due to visit a specialist this week.
Nico Melamed, Espanyol
Chelsea are reportedly interested in adding Melamed to their ranks this summer.
The Spanish Under-19 international came through the youth system at Espanyol and broke into the first-team last season, attracting the attention of several European giants in the process.
And the Blues are now said to be among the clubs chasing the highly-rated midfielder.
Jan Oblak, Atletico Madrid
Lampard is keen to bring in a new first-choice goalkeeper during the summer window.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has fallen out of favour and the Blues have been linked with a number of targets.
Oblak is one of the names being mentioned and Spanish football expert Guillem Balague says Atletico are “scared” the star might wish to join Chelsea this summer.
