Jadon Sancho parties in UK with rappers Krept and Konan
Manchester United are trying to save face in their negotiations to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, because they are concerned that they can’t afford to meet the €120million [£108m] asking price for the youngster. That’s the opinion of German football insider Christian Falk, who believes Dortmund are well aware that they’re in a brilliant position at the moment.

United don’t want to meet those demands, though, and have instead made bids including add-ons andinstalmentpackages.
They are believed to have asked to pay the £108m over three summer transfer windows, something Dortmund are firmly set against.
And Falk believes United are now concerned that they can’t afford to buy the star, and could end up missing out next year if they fail to secure a deal.
Speaking to the Pod Save The Ball podcast, the Bild head of football revealed that he believes there’s a chance the deal won’t get done this summer if the Red Devils can’t afford him.

“They’ve got the [personal terms] agreement [with Sancho].
“But Dortmund did it very well, they’re in a brilliant situation because they don’t have to sell him, they have that one-year more contract, so they’ve got a lot of time.
“They can sell him next year better than this year, next year the corona things might not be an influence on the market.
“They can do the poker like they want, and that’s why Manchester United are disappointed, because Dortmund don’t have to sell.”
