Liverpool: Klopp needs to ‘refresh’ the squad says pundit
Liverpool have reportedly upped their bid for Konstantinos Tsimikas and an agreement could be a matter of hours away, according to reports in Greece. The full-back has made his way onto the Anfield hiearachy's summer shortlist, as they look to bring in cover for Andy Robertson.
The Premier League champions made an offer for Norwich's Jamal Lewis earlier in the week of £10million, which was turned away by Carrow Road chiefs.
Norwich feel under no pressure to sell their most prized assets and value Lewis at around £20m.
They received an offer of £12m from Crystal Palace in January but would reportedly compromise at £15m.
Tsimikas was one of the club's other options in mind following an impressive scouting report.

Bournemouth's Lloyd Kelly, who was a target last year, was also in the fray but now it looks to be a shootout between Lewis and Tsimikas if the Reds can agree a deal with either club.
According to Greek outlet Sportime, Liverpool are pushing to sign Tsimikas and have made a second bid for the star.
The report adds that Jurgen Klopp has decided in the last 24 hours that he prefers the Greek international over a deal for Lewis.
Liverpool are said to have offered around £14.5million for the defender.
