Jamal Lewis makes decision on Liverpool playing terms with transfer negotiations advanced
Liverpool are looking to bring Norwich City full-back Jamal Lewis to the club.
Liverpool: Jamal Lewis discusses playing against Reds in 2019
Jamal Lewis has reportedly accepted he will be back-up to Andy Robertson should he move to Liverpool. It was feared that Jurgen Klopp may miss out on the Norwich star because he could not give him regular game time, something that will have been on offer elsewhere in the Premier League.
Lewis is not short of potential suitors, but Liverpool appear to be at the front of the queue.
Crystal Palace had an offer of £12million rejected in January for the Northern Ireland international.
He is also deemed as a potential option for Leicester if they lose Ben Chilwell this summer.
Nonetheless, the appeal of playing for the Premier League champions appears to have struck a chord with Lewis.

While he will have to be patient for opportunities, he would have the chance to learn from two of the best full-backs in the game in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.
He would initially be the backup option behind Robertson and according to The Athletic, it's a role that he is happy to accept.
Last night James Pearce tweeted that Lewis was desperate to get his move to Anfield.
The player is also represented by PLG, who also manage Alexander-Arnold and Robertson.

The Independent claim that Liverpool are the most advances in negotiations for Lewis as it stands.
Liverpool value the player at around £10million and are willing to pay an initial £8m with an extra £2m up front.
Norwich though are set to demand up to £20m for the 22-year-old.
Liverpool are prepared to look at other options though, should a deal not materialise.

Lewis is not only player Liverpool are looking at from the relegated clubs.
Bournemouth's Lloyd Kelly was a player they explored last summer before Bristol City priced them out of a deal.
He can play at both centre-back and left-back which is why he is of interest.
