Leeds United: Marcelo Bielsa celebrates promotion with players
Leeds have reportedly targeted Manchester United back-up goalkeeper Sergio Romero become their new No 1 for their return to the Premier League next season. Leeds are back in the English top flight for the first time in 16 years after storming the Championship under Marcelo Bielsa.
With Leeds set for a huge windfall after winning the league, Bielsa will undoubtedly want to make some improvements to his squad to ensure they're competitive in the Premier League.
One area that Bielsa appears to be interested in bolstering is between the sticks.
Kiko Casilla lost his place as Leeds' first-choice goalkeeper after eight-match ban for racism back in February .
Illan Meslier was given a chance to step up and Leeds have recently rewarded his good form by making his loan move from Lorient permanent.
He holds an impressive record of keeping 38 clean sheets in 59 appearances and has conceded just four goals in 15 games this season.
United have a decision to make regarding their goalkeeper situation with De Gea coming under increasing pressure.
Dean Henderson has impressed on loan at Sheffield United this season and reports have suggested United could look at bringing the 23-year-old back to Manchester to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's new first-choice.
That could open the door for Romero to leave United with Leeds considering an approach.
