Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has thanked Tottenham for beating Leicester, thus strengthening the Blues' grip on a top four place in the Premier League, after his side beat Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final.
Giroud will face ex-team Arsenal in the final on August 1.
The former Montpellier player had won the competition with Arsenal three times, before picking it up again with Chelsea in 2018.
But Chelsea face a battle to finish in the top four this season, which Giroud is also focussed on.

Giroud added that it would be brilliant to play in another FA Cup final, having won four already.
The Frenchman shared what he told his Chelsea team-mates in the dressing room.
"I said to my boys in the dressing room that I would love to win another one, it would be my fifth one," Giroud told the BBC.
"So another final now, it will be another big game against Arsenal.
"It will be special personally for me but we put it on the side.
