Pep Guardiola salary: How much does the Man City manager earn compared to the players?
Pep Guardiola has been Manchester City manager since 2016 - but how much does earn compared to his players?
Man City: Kevin De Bruyne takes part in shooting drills
Manchester City have enjoyed plenty of success since Pep Guardiola’s arrival. The Spaniard has led the club to two Premier League titles, the League Cups and an FA Cup trophy. As one of the most famous coaches in the world, it’ll come as no surprise that he is handsomely paid.
Guardiola reportedly takes home £20million yearly salary, which works out as approximately £385,000 per week.
Unlike many other top clubs with superstar players, the 49-year-old earns more than his best-paid squad members.
Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is said to be the club’s highest-paid player on £350,000 per week.
Close behind De Bruyne is Raheem Sterling, who reportedly collects £300,000, while fellow forward Sergio Aguero has a weekly wage of £230,000.

Guardiola signed a contract extension with City in 2018, trying him to the club until the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
“I am so happy and excited. It’s a pleasure to be able to work here,” Guardiola said at the time.
“I enjoy working with our players every day and we will try to do our best together in the coming years. As a manager, you have to feel good to be with the players – and I feel good.
“I will focus on the desire of my players to become a better team and every day that’s what I will try to do – to improve on the pitch and improve our players.”
With his current deal expiring next year, the Spanish coach has hinted that he's open to renewing his contract.
Speaking last month, he said: ”We have time to discuss this.
“We are going to finish this season. We have two months ahead of us and then we have time to talk about this.
“All I can say is, like I said since the first day, how delighted I am here, how happy I am, how comfortable I am with the players, backroom staff and board.
“I don't have any complaints about what the club has offered me from day one.
“We can do better, that's why we work every day, but extend? We will see, we have time.”
