Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp reacts to victory over Brighton
The battle to finish in the top four of the Premier League is beginning to intensify. Chelsea kept themselves on course to qualify for the Champions League as they hung on for a nervy 3-2 win over Crystal Palace before Leicester needed a late equaliser from Jamie Vardy to get a point at Arsenal.
The Blues were ahead after just six minutes when Olivier Giroud turned in Willian's cross.
Willian was involved again as Christian Pulisic put Chelsea 2-0 up in the 27th minute but Palace responded through a sublime strike from Wilfried Zaha.
The Eagles improved in the second half before Chelsea substitute Tammy Abraham struck with 19 minutes left.
But Palace would not lie down as Christian Benteke scored just seconds later, notching his first goal at Selhurst Park since April 2018.
Scott Dann struck a post in stoppage time but Chelsea hung on for a crucial victory and it was enough to move them one point above Leicester as Brendan Rodgers' side, who were frustrated at Arsenal.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang turned in Bukayo Saka's 21st-minute cross to put the Gunners in front.
But after Eddie Nketiah was sent off shortly after coming on as a substitute with 15 minutes left, Vardy's 22nd goal of the season survived a lengthy VAR check for offside to earn the Foxes a point.
Watford moved away from the relegation zone with victory over bottom-club Norwich, after coming from behind to win 2-1.
Norwich, now 10 points adrift of safety with four games to play, led through Emiliano Buendia's curling effort but Craig Dawson headed Watford level shortly after and Danny Welbeck's excellent overhead kick won it in the second half.

The figures shown are based on how people have been betting on the matches.
Betfair spokesperson Darren Hughes said: “As we move into Gameweek 34 of the Premier League, many teams are already in holiday mode, with the end very much in sight.
“Those teams do not, however, include Leicester, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Wolves, any two of which could nab the two remaining Champions League spots, with the former two currently in pole position.
“United have a trip to the Midlands to contend with, as they travel to Villa Park for a fixture that Betfair Exchange suggests they have a 74% chance of winning, with United hoping to close the gap extended by Chelsea’s victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
“With Leicester also lucky to escape the Emirates with a point on Tuesday, the opportunity is there for not just United, but also Wolves to give them something to think about, with the Wanderers heading to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Wednesday evening, a game that Betfair Exchange suggests is a coin toss (44% chance of Wolves victory).
“While the league title may be done and dusted, those coveted Champions League places are of enormous value, and those in contention will be fighting tooth and nail until the last game of the season to try and secure them.”
