Manchester United's Dean Henderson was in action for loan club Sheffield United in the Premier League restart opener against Aston Villa.
Sheffield United vs Aston Villa: Pundits react to VAR decision
Manchester United fans are convinced Dean Henderson will become the club's first-choice goalkeeper in the future after an impressive performance in Sheffield United's draw with Aston Villa.
The Blades loanee pulled off a number of impressive saves in the stalemate at Villa Park in the opening game of the Premier League restart to take his record to 11 clean sheets in 28 appearances this term.
He is expected to see out the remainder of the campaign with Chris Wilder's team, despite being competitors for Champions League qualification.
But attention has already turned to next season, with Henderson reluctant to sit on the bench as David De Gea's back up so another season at Bramall Lane appears to be on the cards if they secure European football.
While his immediate future might not lie at Old Trafford, United fans kept close tabs on his performance against Villa, with plenty predicting he will eventually usurp De Gea.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already expressed his belief that Henderson will one day occupy the starting spot at Old Trafford.
“Dean has made some great choices over the years and has developed fantastically,” said Solskjaer.

“This season has proved a great experience for him, he’s done himself some favours with his performances, and proved he will be England’s No 1 and Man United’s No 1 at some point.”
