Achraf Hakimi battle
Arsenal have joined the battle to sign Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi.
Several clubs across Europe are monitoring the full-back with Premier League rivals Tottenham and Chelsea also reported to be interested.
Hakimi, 21, is close to completing his two-season loan spell with Borussia Dortmund, where he's scored 10 goals and provided 17 assists in 65 appearances.
Reports in Spain claim Zinedine Zidane's side are looking to extend his contract beyond June 2022 - but the 28-capped Morocco international doesn't want to play second-fiddle to Dani Carvajal at the Bernabeu.
Wanted: Max Bird
Frank Lampard is considering an approach for Derby midfielder Max Bird.
The Chelsea boss and assistant Jody Morris are both aware of Bird's potential having spent over 12 months at Pride Park Stadium and monitored his development.
In fact, Lampard handed Bird his first league appearance against Swansea in December 2018 and the midfielder has gone from strength-to-strength ever since.
Now, Football Insider claim the Blues are plotting a summer move for the teenager and regard him as a young player of 'enormous potential'.
Willian snub
Barcelona are NOT interested in signing Chelsea star Willian.
That's according to Sport, who claim the Brazilian was offered to Barcelona but the Spanish champions rejected the opportunity to bring him to the Nou Camp.
Willian, 31, is widely expected to leave Chelsea when his contract expires in June. Talks have taken place to extend his stay but the two parties can't agree on terms.
Sport say Premier League rivals Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain are now his most likely destination.
Olivier Giroud talks
Chelsea have opened contract talks with Olivier Giroud.
The France striker, 33, was close to leaving Stamford Bridge in January but Frank Lampard's side were unable to find a suitable replacement.
Inter Milan were the closest side to securing his signature and even had a verbal agreement in place to bring Giroud to the San Siro.
Goal report that the Blues are in negotiations with Giroud's representatives but are only expected to offer a one-year deal due to their policy for over-30 players.
Jesse Lingard claim
Everton have been urged to sign Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard in the summer transfer window because the midfielder can be a “very good signing” for the Toffees if given enough minutes. That is the view of former Premier League defender Alex Bruce.
Lingard has been valued at around £30million and his departure could fund United's move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
“He’s been linked with Everton, he’s been linked with Arsenal from what I’ve seen – he’s a player that just needs to go and play," Bruce told Football Insider. “I’m a big believer that players need to play to show their potential.
"It’s very difficult for a player to go into a team, play one game every four or five weeks. His opportunities at Manchester United have been a little bit limited."
Corentin Tolisso battle
Arsenal and Manchester United have expressed interest in Corentin Tolisso.
Tolisso, 25, has become a bit-part player under Bayern Munich boss Hans-Dieter Flick - starting just TWO Bundesliga fixtures since Niko Kovac was sacked in November.
The central midfielder, who boasts 21 caps for France and a World Cup winner's medal, is assessing his options and would like to leave the Allianz Arena.
According to French website FootMercato, both United and Arsenal are looking to capitalise on his situation with Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Napoli also interested.
Aaron Ramsey interest
Chelsea are 'tracking' Juventus star Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international, 29, arrived in Turin from Arsenal on a free transfer in July 2019 and has managed four goals and one assist in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Despite a reasonably bright start to life under Maurizio Sarri, It's thought Ramsey, who earns a staggering £400,000-a-week in Italy, could well return to the Premier League.
Transfermarketweb claim Chelsea are tracking the attacking midfielder, while Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are also potential destinations.
Lionel Messi to Inter Milan
Inter Milan are capable of signing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
That's according to former Inter midfielder Benoit Cauet, who believes the club's president Steven Zhang has the "financial capabilities" to get a deal over the line.
"Of course Inter can sign Lionel Messi, there are no doubts that they could," Cauet said on Instagram Live.
"President Steven Zhang has the financial capabilities and the potential ambition. He is a president who thinks big."
James Rodriguez suitors
Manchester United have joined the growing number of Premier League teams interested in James Rodriguez, with the Real Madrid star expected to leave the Bernabeu in the summer transfer window.
Rodriguez has fallen down the pecking order at Real under boss Zinedine Zidane with both the club and the player seeking an exit at the end of the season.
And Spanish publication AS claim United have taken an interest in Rodriguez's situation in Madrid.
The report even suggests the player could be involved in a swap deal to take him to Old Trafford with Paul Pogba going in the other direction.
Arsenal, Everton and Wolves are also monitoring the attacking midfielder's situation.
