FIFA are set to force those players out of contract on June 30 to remain with their current clubs until the end of the season.
Chelsea: Willian told Lampard he’s not staying at club says pundit
There are 66 Premier League players out of contract in the summer, but their futures could be in limbo with FIFA stating they will be forced to stay at their clubs until the season is finished. The current campaign is suspended until further notice with no games being played until April 30 at the earliest with that date set to be moved back even further next week.
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has put the final few gameweeks of the campaign in jeopardy, but the Premier League are keen to get the season finished.
Just last week, they announced plans to extend the season indefinitely, meaning games could well be played into the summer months.
But that throws up some issues in regards to the transfer window and those players out of contract on June 30.
It's looking increasingly unlikely all remaining matches will be played before that date and according to The Times, FIFA have brought in emergency measures to ensure players out of contract will remain with their current clubs.

FIFA have labelled the coronavirus pandemic as a “force majeure”, meaning an unforeseen situation that prevents contracts from being fulfilled.
It is claimed that therefore gives FIFA the power to restrict player movement until seasons are completed.
Express Sport looks at every Premier League player set to be out of contract in the summer who will therefore be impacted by this ruling change.
