Man Utd should have sold Martial instead of Lukaku says pundit
Manchester United are currently in Marbella training hard ahead of their Premier League clash with Chelsea after the international break. And all eyes will be on Anthony Martial for the showdown at Stamford Bridge.
This September will mark five years since Martial made his United debut, terrifying Liverpool with a sumptuous goal in a 3-1 win.
At the time, many thought the club had signed a winner. The striker looked like he had the potential to be great, with details soon emerging about a Ballon d’Or clause in his contract.
But, five years on, and the jury remains out on the France international.
In United’s last Premier League match, against Wolves, Martial was charged with the task of propelling his side to victory.
With Marcus Rashford injured, and Bruno Fernandes in the side, it was Martial’s chance to show he can be the star of the show.
