Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will likely be sacked at the end of the season if he endures a run similar to the five-game winless one the Red Devils went through at the end of the 2018/19 season and misses out on a top-six spot.
The Glazers want United to finish in the top four places this season.
But Solskjaer’s side are currently eighth in the league, six points off fourth-placed Chelsea.
United missed out on the top four last season to Chelsea, as they lost three times and drew twice in their last five games of the campaign.

And according to the Mirror, Solskjaer’s time at United will be up if they go on the same run.
Chelsea and United clash a week on Monday, when Solskjaer’s men will aim to reduce the gap to three points.
It’s thought that Solskjaer will be given full backing by the Glazers and Ed Woodward up until the end of the season.

But it all depends on the manner in which the season ends for United.
If they finish outside the top four but run their rivals close, he’s more likely to keep his job.
But finishing outside the top six, with a real down-turn in form would probably see him lose his job.
Solskjaer is currently away with his United squad at a winter break training camp in Marbella.
The Norwegian explained: “We go to Spain and it’s a chance now to regroup and evaluate what has been good, because we haven’t had time to do too much training
“So we’ll get a good seven, eight or nine days of training in before Chelsea and the rest of the season.
“Hopefully we’ll have two games every week.
“So that’s the biggest part - reintegrating and restarting again.”
United have lost games to Crystal Palace, Newcastle, West Ham, Burnley and Watford this season.
They’re also without a win in three games in the Premier League.
