FA Cup draw: Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea learn fourth round fixtures
Premier League leaders Liverpool will travel to either Championship side Bristol City or League One Shrewsbury Town in the fourth round of the FA Cup following Monday's draw. See what happened with Express Sport.
Yep, so the FA Cup fourth round draw can be summarised fairly easily. That team you don't like got an easy draw. Racking my brains for the stand-out tie but all I can see is Hull vs Chelsea and Brentford vs Leicester.
Is Bristol City vs Liverpool good? It doesn’t feel it.
Dan: If you look up the word "underwhelming" in the dictionary you'll find this FA Cup fourth round draw. Not one exciting tie among them.
Greg: That might be the worst draw in the history of the FA cup. Good luck TV companies picking from that lot!
Matt: Is that the deadest FA cup draw of all time?

Here we go!
The ever-reliable and remarkably likeable Mark Chapman is joined by former Arsenal star Alex Scott and ex-Leeds manager David O’Leary. We’re about to get underway. Got a feeling Manchester City will get a home tie to a lower league side - just a feeling…
Oh, another Montage
As is tradition with football coverage these days - we’re being treated to a theatrical reading from a Hollywood star. No idea when that became the norm.
Anyway, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who we know better as Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones, gives a passionate speech finished with “COME ON LEEDS!” Very inspiring…
Nearly time…
Just managed to avoid watching any of The One Show before coverage of Arsenal and Leeds started on BBC One. Always a moral win in my book. We’re about five minutes away from the all-important draw. Standby…
The odds are in and surprise, surprise Manchester City are the market leaders according to Betfair Exchange.
Pep Guardiola’s side are 11/4 to defend their crown with Liverpool second-favourites at 5/1. That surprises me considering Jurgen Klopp couldn’t give a monkeys about domestic cups.
Tottenham, Leicester and Arsenal follow with Manchester United a 15/1 shot.
Betfair Exchange - FA Cup Winner 2020: Manchester City - 11/4, Liverpool - 5/1, Tottenham - 9/1, Chelsea - 10/1, Leicester - 11/1, Arsenal - 12/1, Manchester United - 15/1.

Starting XI…
And the team news arrives. Headline news for Arsenal is that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is absent while Leeds hand out two debuts to Illan Meslier and Robbie Gotts.
The weekend came and went without a genuine third-round shock.
League One strugglers Tranmere justifiably made headlines for battling back from three goals down to earn a 3-3 draw and replay against Premier League Watford, while third-tier Rochdale also deserve credit for snatching a 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle.
Elsewhere, few eyebrows were raised as Championship clubs Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham and Derby enjoyed narrow victories over top-flight sides Brighton, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace respectively.

7.56
Tonight’s clash between Arsenal and Leeds is kicking off one minute later than normal, at 7.56pm, and it’s all part of a mental health initiative.
The match was scheduled to kick off at 7.55pm. But, it has been delayed by one minute as part of the Heads Up campaign.
The initiative aims to encourage fans to ‘Take A Minute’ to think about the importance of looking after their own mental wellbeing.
It is being spearheaded by Prince William, who narrates a short film that will be shown before the match at the Emirates.

This is the hopeful story of the weekend in my book.
Following repeated calls for referees to make use of pitchside monitors instead of relying solely on the judgement of the VAR, Michael Oliver made history at Selhurst Park.
A monitor was used for the first time in England when referee Oliver watched watched replays of an incident involving Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic and Derby midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
Oliver subsequently upgraded Milivojevic's punishment from a booking to a red card, with his actions prompting optimism of a positive development in how VAR technology is implemented.
Can’t believe we’re celebrating such an obvious thing but I’m happy nonetheless.

Arsenal vs Leeds
The final FA Cup third-round fixture of the weekend arrives and It’s a doozy.
Mikel Arteta has an illustrious history with the FA Cup having won the competition with Arsenal in 2014 and 2015 while also helping Manchester City to success during the past two seasons as assistant to Pep Guardiola.
But he’s up against the moderately terrifying Marcelo Bielsa, who maintains his promotion hopefuls cannot consider the FA Cup a "distraction" in their quest to reach the Premier League.
I’m expecting fireworks in north London. And not just because I live there and forgot to set them off on NYE…

Hello everyone and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the FA Cup fourth-round draw.
No real earth-shattering results on what felt like a fairly low-key FA Cup weekend. Low attendance too I’ve seen today - 19,089 less than average at Sheffield United on Saturday.
Anyway, four Premier League sides were dumped out of the competition.
Everton succumbed to Liverpool’s Under-12s at Anfield while Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Brighton also tasted defeat.
Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham are in the hat tonight but will need to overcome Wolves, Rochdale and Middlesbrough respectively to secure safe passage.
Let’s get going!
