Arsenal: Pundits discuss Aubameyang's transfer options
Arsenal have been backed to cash-in on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window if a credible offer arrives. That's according to Jamie Carragher, who believes Mikel Arteta has a big job on his hands to get the Gunners back where they need to be.
According to The Independent, Aubameyang wants out of Arsenal and is refusing to extend his contract which expires in the summer of 2021.
And in the view of Carragher, the Gunners will be tempted to accept any offer they receive for their captain if he is not going to commit his future to the club, particularly when considering his age.
"You look at up front and the age of Aubameyang, he's got a year to go," Carragher said on the Sky Sports Christmas Transfer show.
"I wouldn't be surprised if they cashed in on Aubameyang if somebody offered them big money.
