Leicester City face Manchester City at The Etihad today.
Liverpool backed to win Premier League by Yaya Toure
Leicester City title-winning hero Danny Simpson believes his former club can catch Liverpool and win the Premier League again if they beat Manchester City today. The Foxes travel to the Etihad second in the table and ten points behind the Reds.
Leicester have the opportunity to shorten the gap between themselves and Liverpool today.
The table-topping Reds are in Qatar for the Club World Cup, meaning they’ll have a game in hand over the Foxes after this weekend.
If Leicester are able to get a win, they’ll shorten the gap to seven points, putting the pressure firmly back on Jurgen Klopp’s side.
They travel to the Etihad knowing the hosts will desperately need a result, too.

City lost assistant manager Mikel Arteta on Friday to Arsenal, and will be under pressure to show they can do without him today.
The back-to-back champions are 14 points behind Liverpool, and are under increasing pressure to retain their crown.
Back in 2016, Leicester beat City 3-1 at the Etihad to go five points clear of the hosts at the summit.
Leicester went on to win their first Premier League title, and one of the key players from that team has discussed how today’s game could mirror that fixture.

Simpson explained that win in February 2016 was the defining moment in Leicester’s title success.
“It was one of the highlights of my career,” he told The Sun.
“That win was one of the standout performances of the season. It made people think, ‘They are a good team, maybe they can do it?’.
“I remember being in the dressing room — and that’s when we as players also started to believe ourselves we really could do it.
“It wasn’t just that we won comfortably, we played really well.
“At the time it sent a message out — and we kicked on from there.
“This Leicester team are genuine title contenders, especially if they go there and win.
"The football that Brendan has got them playing is top class.”
