Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp discusses decision to sign new contract
Liverpool stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Watford at Anfield. The victory temporarily moves them 11 points clear of Leicester ahead of the Foxes' meeting with Norwich.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with a brilliant turn and finish after Sadio Mane’s through-ball while Watford missed excellent chances through Ismaila Sarr and Gerard Deulofeu.
Mane then had a header disallowed for offside before Salah made the game safe late on with a delightful flick through Christian Kabasele's legs after Divock Origi’s miss-kick.
The clash was Liverpool's first of three matches in the next five days and was the Reds' first clean sheet in the league at Anfield this season.
