Arsenal: Mikel Arteta will 'stay at Man City' says Burley
Manchester City are reportedly willing to let Mikel Arteta take over at Arsenal, though do not want him to move back to his former club before the weekend. The Gunners are looking for a new permanent manager having sacked Unai Emery last month with Freddie Ljungberg in caretaker charge.

“Number three would be [Max] Allegri, with his experience.
“The only problem with Allegri is he’s got no Premier League experience, so it’s a little bit of a gamble. But he’s managed big clubs.
“Number two definitely Brendan Rodgers. I think he’s doing a great job at Leicester and I think he’d improve Arsenal.
“Number one, I don’t think he would go to Arsenal but I would love to see him there, is [Mauricio] Pochettino.

“But I think he’d go to Manchester United first if I’m being honest.”
Ljungberg won his first game in charge of the Gunners on Monday as they came from behind to win at West Ham on Monday. But the Swede was tight-lipped on what his future holds.
He said: “I've been told to work on a game-to-game basis and that's what I'm trying to do.
“Like I said, it's the club I love and I'll try to help them as much as I can. Then it's up to them to do what they do.”
