Manchester United are reportedly readying themselves for Paul Pogba's departure by setting their sights on Donny van de Beek and Saul Niguez. Pogba is currently on the sidelines with an ankle injury, which has kept him out since September. And his absence has led to increasing reports that he may have already played his last match for the club.
Although that speculation has been rubbished by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with 18 months left on his deal, Pogba’s future at the club is uncertain.
Real Madrid are admirers of the France star, while Juventus and Barcelona are also understood to be keeping their eye on the situation.
As a result, United are said to be prepared to let Pogba leave before the start of next season.
According to the Daily Mail, Pogba and his entourage rebuffed attempts to open contract talks in the summer.

And it has led to United prioritising two central midfielders in the next two transfer windows.
Ajax’s Van de Beek and Atletico Madrid’s Saul are said to be top of their wishlist as they look to strengthen an area which has underwhelmed in recent years.
Van de Beek, 22, marked himself out as a goalscoring midfielder last season in Ajax’s run to the Champions League semi-finals.
While Saul, 25, is one of Spanish football’s best talents with a wealth of experience.
