Manchester City sealed their place in the Champions League Round of 16 with a 1-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Pep Guardiola's side were far from their best, but ultimately did their job in a dogged performance at the Etihad Stadium.
Ilkay Gundogan scored the opening goal for City during the second half, by neatly slotting the ball home with an open goal.
But, Shakhtar equalised through Manor Soloman midway through the second 45-minutes.
Man City player ratings vs Shakhtar Donetsk: Sterling and Jesus struggle in draw
Ederson – 5
Recovered well from unsettling air shot to allow Tete sight of open goal early in the first period.
Joao Cancelo – 5
Some good overlapping play on right but panicked with final ball too often, fluffed best chance after half hour.
Fernandinho – 7
Superb block to save Ederson’s blushes after 15 minutes. Commanding display from City’s captain.
Nicolas Otamendi – 6
Decent chance headed straight to Pyatov on half hour. Solid enough in defence.
Angelino – 6
Promising going forward and good cross for Otamendi chance but too often exposed for pace in defence.
Kevin De Bruyne – 7
Energetic display and at the heart of most of City’s forward movement, his driving run led to opener.
Rodri - 6
Solid enough defensively at base of midfield but could drive forward more aggressively, tame shot on 25 minutes.
Ilkay Gundogan – 6
Volleyed straight at keeper on 14 minutes but right place right time for City's opener.
Bernardo Silva – 6
Close control a joy as ever but little end product to show. Worked hard throughout.
Gabriel Jesus – 5
Struggled to impose himself on the game and got few opportunities but never stopped trying, rewarded with assist.
Raheem Sterling – 5
Not a great game by standards from earlier in stellar season. Might need a bit of a break perhaps.
