- The Spanish champions don’t want Philippe Coutinho back at the club
- Inter Milan are desperate to alter the terms of Lautaro Martinez’s contract
Donyell Malen
Barcelona are looking for a replacement for Luis Suarez and they think Donyell Malen will be an ideal fit.
The 20-year-old is having a breakout year at PSV and has scored 16 goals in 18 appearances in all competitions this season.
And according to Spanish publication Sport, Malen is on a transfer shortlist drawn up by the club.
However, Barcelona are concerned that with a lack of available strikers currently on the market it could result in Malen’s price tag becoming excessively high.
Wanted: Karim Adeyemi
Barcelona want to sign Salzburg teenage forward Karim Adeyemi.
The Spanish champions are reportedly on the look-out for more talented youth players like wonderkid Ansu Fati to join their ranks.
And Salzburg’s Adeyemi, 17, is in their sights.
Adeyemi’s scored five goals in nine appearances for Salzburg’s feeder club FC Liefering and the Daily Mail claim he’s been requested by academy director Patrick Kluivert.
Real vs Barca
Napoli star Fabian Ruiz is a wanted man.
The Spanish international, 23, has risen to stardom since joining Napoli from Real Betis for £26million in 2018.
And his exploits have attracted the attention of Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are in the market for a new control midfielder.
Goal claim the Spanish heavyweights will battle it out for Ruiz next summer, but Napoli plan to tie him to a new contract with an £87million release clause.
The MEN claim Manchester United were also monitoring Ruiz over the summer.
Neymar pursuit
Barcelona will NOT challenge for Neymar’s signature in January.
The Catalan giants made several attempts, including player-plus-cash offers, over the summer but PSG stood firm.
It’s claimed that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi valued the Brazilian forward at £273million - but would now accept their initial £200m investment.
Despite that, Mundo Deportivo claim the rise of teenage sensation Ansu Fati has led to Barcelona cancelling their pursuit of Neymar.
Philippe Coutinho future
Barcelona don’t want Philippe Coutinho back at the club.
Coutinho, 27, failed to justify the £105million Barcelona paid Liverpool for his services in January 2018.
He’s since joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan and he’s hit the ground running with two goals and two assists in six Bundesliga fixtures.
However, AS claim Coutinho has pulled on the Barcelona shirt for the last time and should Bayern NOT choose to make the deal permanent - he could return to the Premier League.

Release clause
Inter Milan are desperate to alter the terms of Lautaro Martinez’s contract to ward off interest from Barcelona.
Martinez has scored three goals in nine appearances this season - including one against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Tuttosport claim the Catalan side are looking to bring him to the Nou Camp and could be prepared to meet his £96million release clause.
However, Inter value the Argentine striker far higher than that and will initiate talks to increase his buyout cause immediately.
Alexis Sanchez injury
Alexis Sanchez has been diagnosed with a dislocated ankle and tendon damage.
The Manchester United forward, on loan at Serie A side Inter, is still waiting to learn whether he requires surgery after sustaining the injury during Chile's goalless draw with Colombia in Alicante.
"Alexis Sanchez underwent medical tests at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano," Inter said. "Results revealed a joint dislocation in his left ankle which has caused damage to the peroneus longus tendon.
"The player will meet for further consultations with Professor Ramon Cugat in Barcelona on Wednesday, where they will seek to reach a decision on whether surgical intervention is necessary."
Ivan Rakitic departure
Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic will push for a departure in January.
That’s according to Spanish newspaper Marca, who claim the Croatia international wants regular first-team action elsewhere.
Rakitic, 31, has slipped down the pecking order at the Nou Camp after the arrival of Frenkie de Jong - starting just two La Liga fixtures this season.
Manchester United and AC Milan have been touted as possible destinations for the veteran midfielder.
