Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named September’s Premier League Player of the Month after five goals in four appearances.
The Arsenal striker scored a brace in the 2-2 draw with Watford before further goals against Tottenham and Manchester United.
Aubameyang then netted a late winner against Aston Villa with a superb free-kick to rescue all three points for the Gunners, having earlier relinquished penalty duties to new team-mate Nicolas Pepe.
The 30-year-old beat Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kevin de Bruyne, Son Heung-min and Riyad Mahrez to the award, while Ricardo Pereira and Callum Wilson were also in the running.
And Aubameyang has been rewarded with a FIFA 20 Player of the Month card which sees his original rating boosted up to an overall 89.
The latest FUT card will be available through specific Squad Building Challenges, with players able to trade squads of unwanted players for the latest release.
However, plenty of gamers have already resigned themselves to never getting their hands on the Gunners striker due to the high requirements expected in Aubameyang’s SBCs.
Reacting to EA Sports’ announcement of Aubameyang’s upgrade on Twitter, one user said: “That’s my coins gone for another year.”

Further responses included “Andddd it’s gonna cost my first born child, so whatever”, “Gonna be like 6 mill. Cheers” and “Cost 2 arms and 1 leg?”.
Plenty of gamers were concerned that completing the SBCs will be far too expensive for average players, while others bemoaned the minimal upgrade of just one on Aubameyang’s overall rating.
“Stop making them +1, it’s useless,” complained a fan.
“1 billion coins needed” and “All you’ll need is 5 limbs, 3 million coins and 8 kidneys” were further responses.

However, one supporter said: “I’m prepared to give a family member in the SBC.”
EA Sports announced that the Aubameyang Player of the Month card is available now, although the SBC has yet to appear.
