Serge Gnabry's performance against Spurs praised by pundit
Serge Gnabry fired a fresh shot at Tottenham after scoring four in Bayern Munich’s demolition of the Premier League side.
Bayern Munich destroyed Tottenham 7-2 at the New Tottenham Stadium on Tuesday Night.
Gnabry grabbed four of the seven goals in a spectacular performance on his return to North London.
The German winger was superb and tore Tottenham’s defence to pieces with a brilliant second-half display.
All four of Gnabry's strikes came in the second half, as he piled on the misery for Spurs.
After the game, he added further insult to injury for Tottenham fans with a callback to his Arsenal days.
The winger spent six years at the Emirates before swapping England for Germany, but referenced his Arsenal days when speaking to reporters post-match.
“It's difficult to put this into words, winning 7-2,” Gnabry said.
“None of us would have imagined this.
“To have scored four goals is also an amazing feeling.
“I imagine all the Arsenal fans enjoyed that one!
“Obviously it’s great for us, we’re going to enjoy the evening.”
He also fired a quick jab at Tottenham fans with a tweet afterwards, posting: “North London is RED!!!”
Gnabry left Arsenal for £5million after failing to make the grade at the Emirates.
The winger spent an unsuccessful loan spell at West Brom, playing just once.
