Rio Ferdinand remembers his time at West Ham
Rio Ferdinand jumped to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s defence after Manchester United’s loss to West Ham.
United lost 2-0 to the Hammers at the London Stadium with goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell, which dropped the Red Devils to eighth place.
A chunk of fans took to social media after the final whistle and demanded Solskjaer’s dismissal from the club but Ferdinand strongly disagrees.
The United legend met with some supporters while driving away from the stadium and recorded the encounter that saw him sticking up for the Norwegian gaffer.
Ole out for what? For what?
The former England international called for the fans to be less reactionary and have more patience with Solskjaer.
The footballer-turned-pundit added that no one was asking for the manager’s dismissal two weeks ago.
Ferdinand said in the video which he shared on Twitter: "Ole out for what? For what?
"Changing managers every few weeks, is that what everyone wants?
Rolling up on the fan tv like....

"Two weeks ago, I didn’t see people saying: ‘We want Ole out’.
“Now it’s changed up in two weeks.
"Come on man.
“It's too knee-jerk.
“Sometimes you just need to let things play out.”
