'We're going to kill our opponents' Man City ace Rodri reveals brutal plan after Norwich
Rodri has urged his Manchester City team-mates to take no prisoners.
Manchester City need to up their game if they’re going to win the title again according to Rodri.
Pep Guardiola’s side slipped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of newly promoted Norwich to hand Liverpool a five-point lead in the title race.
The Spain international gave his thoughts after they slipped up at Carrow Road, and insisted that they will improve fast.
“We didn't play our best match, of course," he told CityTV.
“But we lost because of our mistakes, and we can learn from that and not repeat it again in the next matches.
“I don't know if people trust us or not, but we are a team.
“We are always a team, when we win and when we lose.
“You're going to see the best version of Manchester City.”
City have won two Premier League titles in a row and are expected to go head-to-head with Liverpool in their quest to win a third.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have won all five of their opening fixtures, and Rodri had a stark warning for his team-mates.
He added: “Normally when you get these matches, in the next one you kill the opponents.
“So that's what we're going to do in the next match, we're going to kill our opponents. Pep told us, this team isn't allowed to lose, we have to win.
“Every time I play, I get more used to the league.
“For me, this environment is incredible.
'You come to places like Norwich and the atmosphere is incredible.
“It was a tough day, and when you come off the international break it is always more difficult.”
