Manchester United supporters piled the blame on Lindelof after his error against Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils went 1-0 down at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon thanks to a Jordan Ayew goal.
Lindelof was beaten in the air by Jeffrey Schlupp, who managed to set up Ayew in the 32nd minute.
Sweden international Lindelof was United’s best centre-back last season, with the defender partnering Harry Maguire this time out.

However, United fans slammed the centre-back for his latest display, with many claiming he’s too weak.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “What is Lindelof doing today? He’s so off the pace I’m doing just as well at marking sat in my chair.”
Another added: “Lindelof monstered there, still a serious risk 1v1. #mufc #MUNCRY”
“How [Axel] Tuanzebe doesn’t start for united… so much better than lindelof,” questioned another United fan.
Another said: “Might seem reactionary but I been said Lindelof is a bit soft for a Utd cb.”
“I can jump higher than Lindelof. He's 6'2". I am 5’9”,” said a fellow United fan.
Lindelof has partnered Maguire at United after the England international completed his world-record move to Old Trafford.
However, his former boss at Leicester Brendan Rodgers has revealed he isn’t surprised to see Maguire shine.

"He's been unsurprisingly very good," Rodgers said.
"He’s a top-class centre-half. I'm so happy for him as he was great in my time here.
"He had an opportunity to move to a great club in Manchester United and he’s gone in there and you can see the real difference he’s made; he’s given them real stability.
"He settles everything down because he’s very calm, but very imposing."
