How Man Utd are playing a part in Real Madrid’s bid to beat Barcelona to Neymar
MANCHESTER UNITED are playing a part in Real Madrid’s pursuit of PSG star Neymar.
Neymar is keen to leave PSG this summer after two years in Ligue 1.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are chasing the Brazil international, with Neymar said to favour a return to the Nou Camp.
Neither side are giving up on landing the forward before the European transfer deadline.
And according to ESPN, Manchester United have played a part in the Neymar transfer saga.
They say their refusal to sell Paul Pogba to Real Madrid has resulted in the Spanish giants upping their interest in Neymar.
Real are now fully focused on beating Barcelona to Neymar instead of going for Pogba.
Neymar is keen to return to Barcelona, however, the forward would not turn down a move to Real Madrid.
Pogba has impressed for United this season despite rumours he could quit Old Trafford for Real Madrid.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has played the France international in a deeper role, with Pogba relishing the change.
Pogba shined against Chelsea and Wolves, despite missing a penalty at Molineux on Monday night.
United boss Solskjaer has been vocal on Pogba’s future, insisting the midfielder is going nowhere this summer.
He said: “You always put question marks around Paul.
“I don't think it’s odd saying I enjoy playing, I have fun with my team-mates, I enjoy what I'm doing, I love my job and enjoy the game.
“Of course that sentence with the question mark about him, there's always question marks about Paul.
“There's not one press conference that I've not answered a question about Paul Pogba.
“80 per cent of what he said was that he enjoyed that game and his time here. [The other 20 per cent] is the question mark.
“Is he questioning you or are you putting question marks on him? I've got absolutely no concerns on Paul.”
