Arsenal fans will love what John McGinn has said about transfer - ’He’s got everything’
ARSENAL new-boy Kieran Tierney has “got everything” and will “run through a brick wall” for his new club.
Kieran Tierney has his first training session with Arsenal
That is according to Aston Villa star and Scotland international John McGinn.
McGinn plays alongside Tierney for Scotland so knows him better than most.
Tierney completed his long-awaited move to Arsenal from Celtic on transfer deadline day.
Fans will have to wait a while to see him in action as he continues his rehabilitation from a double hernia operation.
Once he gets back fit, he will run through a brick wall for Arsenal
But McGinn says once he is fit, Tierney will continue to get better and better as a player.
“He’s got everything,” McGinn told talkSPORT.
“Once he gets back fit, he will run through a brick wall for Arsenal.
“Not only that, he can gallop up and down the pitch and get assists, he’s a very good crosser of the ball.
“He’s also a really humble guy who will improve all the time.”
McGinn scored on his Premier League debut for Villa on Saturday in the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham.
But like Tierney, he is a boyhood Celtic fan.
And he admits he still follows the Hoops from afar.
“I’m still a Celtic supporter, I was watching the game at the weekend, and I always will be,” he added.
“It will never leave you.
“But I have to focus on doing my best for Aston Villa and whatever comes up in the future we will take it from there.
“I am still a Celtic supporter and the boys here know I harp on about it all the time but I’m fully focused on Villa.”
