Man Utd talks held with Mino Raiola over Blaise Matuidi transfer from Juventus
MANCHESTER UNITED held talks earlier this week over a possible transfer for Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi.

The Red Devils are desperate to improve their squad before the 5pm deadline today.
United have looked at a number of midfielders this summer including Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen and Sean Longstaff.
But now news has emerged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was interested in bringing Matuidi to Old Trafford.
Italian outlet Tuttosport claim Manchester United officials met with Juventus to discuss Mario Mandzukic earlier this week.
But Matuidi was also discussed as well as Paul Pogba who has been linked with a return to the Serie A side.
Mino Raiola represents both players and would be instrumental in any deal.

Matuidi is said to be concerned by the amount he will start for Juventus next season.
That’s following the arrivals of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey at the Italian champions.

United are also interested in signing Mandzukic as a possible replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian is set to leave Old Trafford for Inter Milan in a deal worth £73million.
The Red Devils accept it will be a struggle to get a transfer over the line today though with the 5pm deadline.
If United don’t sign a striker they will be thin on the ground in attack heading into the new season.
Marcus Rashford will lead the line with Mason Greenwood set to be given opportunities by Solskjaer.
Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez are also possible options in attack for United.
The Red Devils start their campaign against Chelsea this Sunday at Old Trafford with kick-off at 4.30pm.
United have signed Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire this summer.
