Neymar bid
Real Madrid have made a bid for PSG superstar Neymar.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Zinedine Zidane’s side have offered £111million plus Luka Modric for the Brazilian.
Earlier today it was reported that Real Madrid would only swoop for Neymar IF a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could not be agreed.
Barcelona also retain interest in Neymar, but will need to offload Philippe Coutinho before making their approach.
Neymar deal hinges on Coutinho
Barcelona have to offload Philippe Coutinho to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp.
PSG are prepared to loan Neymar to Barcelona with an obligation to purchase outright next season, according to Goal.
However, the deal hinges on Coutinho.
The Brazilian must leave the club in order to free up cash to pay for Neymar's salary and meet financial fair play regulations.
Tottenham have been closely linked with the former Liverpool star but will have to fork out a hefty £28million loan fee.
Coutinho is Messi’s shadow
Philippe Coutinho has suffered from playing alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
That’s the belief of Harry Redknapp, who thinks Philippe Coutinho has been left in Lionel Messi’s shadow.
"I think he'd be a good fit for anybody. He's got great ability,” Redknapp told Sky Sports News, when asked if Coutinho would be suited to Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham.
“He's gone to Barcelona and it's not easy when you walk into a club when you've got Lionel Messi there. He gets on the ball, beats two or three people. Suddenly Coutinho is in the shadow of him.
"Maybe coming to Tottenham, he'll come out of that shadow and he could be a great player for Spurs there's no doubt about that."
Samuel Umtiti to Arsenal
Arsenal are interested in a loan swoop for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.
The Gunners were linked with the French defender earlier in the summer but attentions turned to RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano.
But with RB Leipzig's determination to keep their 20-year-old - Umtiti is back on Unai Emery’s radar.
Now, The Sun claim Arsenal are back in for Umtiti and have ‘explored’ the possibility of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium on a season-long loan.
Wanted - Neymar
Real Madrid will set their sights on Neymar IF they fail to sign Paul Pogba.
That’s according to ESPN FC, who claim PSG are looking to recoup the £200million they paid for the Brazilian in 2017.
It’s said that PSG would prefer a straight sale rather than a loan move with an obligation to buy.
And sources have told ESPN FC that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez shares an excellent working relationship with his PSG counterattack Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he expects Pogba, who is valued at £150m, to stay at Old Trafford this summer.
Philippe Coutinho to snub Spurs
Philippe Coutinho has rejected the opportunity to join Tottenham.
That’s according to talkSPORT, who claim the Brazilian doesn’t want to join Mauricio Pochettino’s ranks.
Tottenham could now turn their attention to Juventus star Paulo Dybala after reports in Italy claimed a deal is agreed.
Spurs are said to have agreed a fee with Juventus for the playmaker, however, personal terms and image rights will need to be sorted.
Neymar bid
Barcelona submitted an official bid for Brazilian superstar Neymar.
But PSG rejected the approach - describing it as unacceptable, according to journalist Duncan Castles.
“We know that Neymar’s preference, at least the preference he’s expressed to Barcelona, is that he wants to come back to the club and to his former team-mates - and most notably Lionel Messi,” Castles told Reach Plc’s Transfer Window podcast.
“Barcelona have offered something to Paris St-Germain which is unacceptable to them in terms of not wanting to go over a cash figure of €70m [£65m] and adding players in the hope that they can get them off their own wage bill and subsidise that transfer fee.”
Tottenham hijack
Tottenham have launched an audacious swoop for Philippe Coutinho.
The Times claim Spurs have made an offer to sign Barcelona outcast Coutinho on a season-long loan - with the option to buy.
The Catalan giants are reported to have asked for a £23million loan fee.
Arsenal are also desperate to bring the Brazilian to north London - but the offer of Champions League football could swing things in Mauricio Pochettino’s favour.

Neymar plea!
Neymar needs to speak out and tell the world that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain, otherwise his return to Barcelona will be too difficult.
That’s according to his friend and ex-Barcelona team-mate Gerard Pique.
“It's a complicated operation,” Pique said. “He's a PSG player and the squad that we have is good enough to win every trophy.
"It has to be Neymar who speaks out. Of course we speak with him, but it's not right to reveal private conversations. If he wants to speak out or give his opinion, he has to come out and say it.”
Giovani Lo Celso bid
Tottenham have submitted a bid for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim Spurs have offered £56million for the Argentine international.
The north London side, who have signed Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke this summer, were exploring the possibility of signing Philippe Coutinho.
But with the Barcelona playmaker snubbing their advances - Spurs will have another crack at Lo Celso.
