Man Utd have made Christian Eriksen transfer decision because of four players
MANCHESTER UNITED have decided to launch a late move for Christian Eriksen having failed to sign four players already this summer.

Manchester United are trying to pull off a sensational transfer coup by luring Tottenham star Eriksen to Old Trafford before Thursday’s 5pm deadline.
The Denmark international is ready to leave north London for a new challenge elsewhere and, despite initially having his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, could make the move to Spurs’ Premier League rivals instead.
Manchester United are hopeful they can convince Tottenham into letting Eriksen go, despite failing to sign the likes of Eric Dier, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale from the club in recent years.
And the Manchester Evening News say United have opted to go for Eriksen having found the market difficult this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows his United side need more in the middle of the park.
The Red Devils have had to contend with the recent exits of both Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera to Shandong Luneng Taishan and PSG respectively.
It is claimed United monitored about Adrien Rabiot earlier in the summer.
However, the PSG star chose to join Juventus on a free transfer instead.
Sean Longstaff was being eyed but it appears Newcastle’s decision to slap a £50million price tag on the player has deterred United.
And Declan Rice and Youri Tielemans were both being courted earlier in the transfer window as well.
With all four players out of reach for various reasons, though, United now want Eriksen.
And Sky Sports expert Dharmesh Sheth has provided an update on United’s pursuit of the Tottenham star, saying: “This potentially could be huge.
These developments [with Coutinho] could add weight to United’s interest in Eriksen.
“They are considering making an official move for him before Thursday’s deadline.
“Eriksen’s contract status, that is the big issue here for Tottenham Hotspurs.
“They won’t need reminding that he has entered the final year and he said earlier on in the summer that he would like to try something new.
“He said he was happy at Tottenham, he loves the fans and would not rule out signing a new contract.
“But Tottenham are in a delicate situation here. They will attempt to get market value before Thursday if Manchester United go in for him.”
