'We'll see what happens' - Pochettino hints at Tottenham deals before transfer deadline
MAURICIO POCHETTINO has refused to rule out Tottenham making any last-ditch signings before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
Pochettino: Spurs 'not in an ideal position' for start of season
Tottenham have made only two signings so far this summer, much to the frustration of many of their fans.
The north Londoners have acquired the services of Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke from Lyon and Leeds United respectively.
Injuries to Juan Foyth and Dele Alli have prompted many of the Spurs faithful to call on Mauricio Pochettino to further strengthen his squad before the closure of the window.
The Argentine is open to doing just that but is adamant he’s happy with the players he currently has at his disposal.
“I am happy with my squad,” Pochettino said. “You can see today a lot of younger players.
“In every season we are always open to improve the squad and to try to find the right players to be stronger and better and there are still four days.
“We'll see what happens in the next few days.”
Tottenham are understood to still be chasing the signatures of Real Betis’ Giovanni Lo Celso and Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.

However, Pochettino recently revealed the comings and goings at the club aren’t down to him.
When quizzed about the club’s transfer policy, he said: “I am not in charge of this.
"I know nothing about the situation of my players, I am only coaching them, trying to get the best from them.
“Things that may or may not happen — sell or buy players, extend contracts or not extend contracts — it’s not in my hands.
"It’s in the club’s hands and in Daniel Levy’s hands.
“At the moment I am just managing the team in the best way possible.”
