What Cristiano Ronaldo has told Paulo Dybala about joining Man Utd from Juventus
CRISTIANO RONALDO will have told Paulo Dybala to join Manchester United if he leaves Juventus, according to Sky Italy reporter Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United and Juventus are said to have agreed a swap deal involving Dybala and Romelu Lukaku.
However, it is now down to Dybala to decide if he wants to move to Old Trafford.
Romano claims Dybala still has reservations about leaving Juventus, the club he has been at since 2015.
The Argentine saw his game time reduced last season following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
I am for sure I know Cristiano if he had to suggest to Paulo, he would say to go to Manchester United
However, Romano says the pair get on well and will have spoken about the transfer.
And after spending six years at Old Trafford, Ronaldo will be advising his team-mate United is the club to join.
“For sure, for sure they spoke,” Romano told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“Paulo is a big fan of Cristiano and Cristiano always said he likes Dybala so much, he’s a big fan.
“Also on the pitch they have a good feeling, so for sure they spoke.
“I don’t know what they said to each other but I am for sure I know Cristiano if he had to suggest to Paulo, he would say to go to Manchester United.
“Cristiano always said [he had a] fantastic relationship with Manchester United fans and everyone at Manchester United.
“So if they spoke, this is the reality.
“But at the moment, the decision is just of Paulo.
“Paulo is waiting, he’s speaking with his family, he’s speaking with his friends, he is speaking with his agents.
“He is not convinced yet about the possibility of leaving Juventus, Manchester United or other clubs, they’ve not convinced him to leave Juventus.
“So let’s see if Manchester United, also with the contract, will convince Paulo.”
Dybala has scored 78 goals for Juventus in 182 career appearances.
