INTER MILAN are reportedly plotting to hijack Manchester United’s move for Paulo Dybala - and they feel they have one key advantage in being able to offer Champions League football next season.
Man Utd: Solskjaer addresses Paulo Dybala transfer rumours
Manchester United have been in deep discussions with Juventus chiefs over a move for Dybala.
Red Devils striker Romelu Lukaku has apparently agreed contract terms to join the Serie A giants as part of the deal.
However, Dybala only wants to leave the Old Lady for footballing reasons and he would prefer a switch to a Champions League club.
As United finished sixth last term they will once again compete in the Europa League.
But Inter Milan can offer a spot in Europe’s premier competition.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Antonio Conte’s side will look to take advantage of the delay in United’s negotiations.
And they are even willing to offer Mauro Icardi in a bid to match United’s Lukaku effort.
Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has been in London since Thursday attempting to complete the deal with United.

But Dybala, who has jetted back to Turin ahead of his return to training on Monday, has yet to make a decision.
It is thought the attacker will meet with his representatives on Monday to discuss the best way forward for his career.
And remaining in Italy with Inter may now be brought into the conversation.
Meanwhile, Inter are desperately attempting to offload Icardi so including him in any deal will be a bonus for the club.

They are now hoping to cut short his stay at the San Siro two years before his contract expires.
Roma have been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old but an offer has yet to materialise.
