‘Oh no’ - What Eden Hazard thinks of Jose Mourinho returning to Real Madrid
EDEN HAZARD will not be happy if Jose Mourinho returns to Real Madrid to replace Zinedine Zidane as manager.
Real Madrid: Hazard wouldn't like Mourinho says pundit
That is according to ESPN FC pundit and former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson.
Hazard joined Real Madrid from Chelsea earlier this summer to fulfil his dream of playing for Los Blancos.
He also made his desire to play under France legend Zidane public.
Robson, though, has previously stated he thinks Zidane will either be sacked or leave Real soon into the upcoming season.
How do you think Eden Hazard would [react] to Mourinho coming in?
“There’s major problems,” he said last week.
“Zidane I think won’t last longer than a couple of months.”
Robson has since been asked if it is possible Jose Mourinho went back to the Bernabeu if the job became available.
Robson replied: “How do you think Eden Hazard would [react] to Mourinho coming in?
“‘Oh no, he’s followed me here’. That wouldn’t be good, would it?”
Hazard played under Mourinho for a couple of years at Chelsea between 2013 and 2015.
The Portuguese has been out of a job since being sacked by Manchester United last December.
Earlier this week Mourinho claimed he still has the desire to manage a top club side.
“I miss my football, I have the fire,” he told Sky Sports.
“The most difficult thing for me is to say ‘no’ to the possibilities I had to work.
“I have to be patient and wait for the right one and the right one is one at the dimension of what I am as a manager.”
In response to those comments, Robson said of Mourinho: “He should have had that fire when he was at Manchester United where he was as miserable as sin.”
