LIVERPOOL are taking on Lyon in Switzerland this evening in their final pre-season friendly of the season as Jurgen Klopp prepares to finalise his team to face Manchester City in the Community Shield on the weekend.

Liverpool have not had the best preparations this summer, after securing wins against Tranmere and Bradford the Reds have failed to register a win in their last four pre-season friendlies.
Wins against Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City were followed by defeats to Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Napoli, while Liverpool managed a score draw against Sporting CP.
Jurgen Klopp will be pleased by the return of several stars, with Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita all given an extended break due to international commitments.

Klopp is expected to keep the same back four that shipped three goals against Napoli, with Virgil van Dijk being paired with Joel Matip and flanked by Andy Roberson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and James Milner are expected to start although Klopp has said Keita will hopefully being getting some minutes during the game.
Keita aggravated an adductor injury during the Africa Cup of Nations while playing for Guinea.

The 24-year-old initially picked up this injury during Liverpool’s semi-final Champions League clash against Barcelona at the beginning of May but the club are confident the player has now fully recovered.
Xherdan Shaqiri also picked up an injury on international duty with Switzerland but although not expected to start will also likely get a run out at some point in Geneva.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mohamed Salah are expected to start on the flanks with Roberto Firmino leading the line.
Although Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum will also be looking to stake to play against City when they come off the bench.
