Lukaku replacements
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly identified two potential replacements for Romelu Lukaku.
Belgian striker Lukaku appears to be on his way out of Old Trafford with Inter Milan keen.
And the Standard claim that the Norwegian has started to identify replacements for Lukaku.
Marcus Rashford is believed to be Solskjaer’s first-choice front man but it’s claimed Lyon ace Moussa Dembele and Lille’s Nicolas Pepe are both of interest to United.
Pogba update
Paul Pogba is expected to miss yet another day of pre-season training with the Manchester United star still enjoying a holiday in New York.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side returned to Carrington this week as they began their pre-season programme ahead of the new campaign.
The Manchester United boss has been keen to get as many of his squad assembled and into shape before the Red Devils head off on a tour of Australia and the Far East.
However, there has been no sign of Pogba with the Frenchman still enjoying a holiday in the US.

Umtiti alert
United have been put on red alert after Barcelona confirmed they’d listen to offers for Samuel Umtiti, according to Sport.
The Catalans won’t accept any bid that’s less than £45m (€50m), as they’re in no rush to sell him.
But after the France international fell out of favour at the Nou Camp last season, Barcelona would entertain the idea of letting him leave.
Umtiti still has four years left on his current contract, and is happy to see out another year.
Aubameyang hope
It seems Arsenal star, and rumoured United target, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may be on the move.
Transfer expert Ian McGarry has said: “Aubameyang himself, is not, I understand, unwilling to move club, especially with the interest from China, where as we know from the Rafa Benitez situation, cash is still plentiful and he can still go there and make a huge amount in terms of what he’s currently paid by Arsenal.
“Aubameyang is one they’ve marketed to several clubs in Europe - including Bayern Munich.
“He was joint top-scorer in the Premier League last season, clearly Arsenal see him as someone who at the age of 30 could probably increase the profit that they spent on buying him from Borussia Dortmund.”
Olmo responds
Reports have suggested Manchester United have made a £36m bid for Spain Under-21 star Dani Olmo.
And the Dinamo Zagreb youngster has now spoken out on where he will play next season.
“Very simple – [I want] a club where I will play,” he told Croatian publication T-Portal.
“Because I am still young and for me it is most important that I have minutes.”
Can Ole Gunnar Solskjaer give him the guarantees?
Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United are currently no closer to signing Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes this summer.
That’s according to Telegraph reporter James Ducker.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has his sights set on bolstering the United midfield with Fernandes a target.
But Ducker insists United have not spoken to the Sporting captain's people despite suggestions terms had been agreed with the Red Devils.
No new developments on Bruno Fernandes. There hasn’t been a new meeting between #mufc and his representatives, he hasn’t agreed personal terms with the club either

Three more signings
Manchester United are in the market for three more signings having lured a winger and a full-back to Old Trafford.
Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have joined the Red Devils this summer to bolster their attack and defence respectively.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is, though, not stopping there with three more signings in the United boss’ sights.
The Mirror reckon Solskjaer wants a centre-back, central midfielder and another winger to strengthen his squad further.
Dani Olmo bid
Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti report that Manchester United have made a £36million bid for Dani Olmo.
Olmo scored the winner for Spain in the Under-21 Euros final against Germany at the weekend having began his career in the Barcelona academy.
Real Madrid have previously been linked with the Dinamo Zagreb star, who scored 12 goals and assisted nine last season.
He has been a key part of a successful Dinamo Zagreb team and has won four league titles and three cups during his time with the club.
Man Utd quoted £90m
Manchester United will need to submit a world-record bid to sign Harry Maguire this summer.
That’s according to the Telegraph, who claim Leicester have quoted Manchester United £90million to purchase their sought-after England international.
It’s said that Leicester understand ‘every player has a price’ but offers below £90m will not be considered.
That means the Red Devils will need to smash the previous world-record transfer fee paid for a defender - which remains Virgil van Dijk’s £75m switch from Southampton to Liverpool.
The Telegraph claim Maguire has expressed a desire to join United - but the player hasn’t agitated for a move.
Bruno Fernandes twist
Manchester United have NOT reached any agreement with Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes.
Yesterday, Italian journalist Nicolo Schira claimed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side had struck an agreement with Fernandes’ agent and personal terms were wrapped up.
However, Portuguese newspaper O Jogo say different.
The report claims that though talks are ongoing - they have not reached an advanced stage.

£50m John McGinn would thrive
Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn would thrive at Old Trafford, says his former St Mirren team-mate Gary Teale.
Manchester United have been linked with a shock move for the Scotland international, who would reportedly cost upwards of £50million.
And Teale doesn’t see why the 24-year-old wouldn’t succeed.
“At first you’re surprised when you see £50 million and Manchester United,” he told the Scottish Sun. “But then you take time to reflect and digest it and there’s nothing to say why he couldn’t go and do it.
“He’s thrived on every chance and there’s no reason to say why, if he got that opportunity at Manchester United, he wouldn’t thrive in that atmosphere.”
Paulo Dybala split
Manchester United’s recruitment team are split on signing Juventus star Paulo Dybala, according to reports.
The Old Lady hitman struggled in Turin last season following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, falling down the pecking order under Massimiliano Allegri.
However, ESPN claim that the United recruitment team is split on whether or not to sign Dybala.
The 25-year-old managed just five league goals for Juventus last season, though, and his form has prompted United into a divide.
Why Rabiot chose Juve
Adrien Rabiot has discussed his reasons for joining Juventus amidst interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.
The French midfielder signed for Juventus yesterday on a free transfer.
“Juve are a great club, one that is very prestigious with a lot of history and a European tradition. In my opinion and with all respect, it’s a step up from PSG,” Rabiot said.
“Gianluigi Buffon told me many interesting things about Juventus. He told me that Juve was the best way for me to take a step forwards in my career. A season here is worth more than anywhere else.
“The Champions League doesn’t come overnight. I’m here to help the club win it and achieve other goals. I had the chance to develop playing with superstars.”
