EDEN HAZARD will reportedly double his wages when the Belgian joins Real Madrid, but how does that compare to the rest of the Los Blancos squad.
Real Madrid to announce Hazard transfer TODAY claims expert
Hazard is expected to be announced as Real Madrid’s fourth summer arrival when he completes his £88million move from Chelsea.
The 28-year-old is set to be unveiled at the Bernabeu imminently, with Real looking to strengthen their squad after a dismal 2018/19 campaign.
The Evening Standard report that Hazard will see his salary increased from £200,000 to £400,000 when he puts pen to paper on a five-year deal.
The transfer is part of a wider squad overhaul being carried out by Zinedine Zidane as the Frenchman puts his mark on the squad following his return to the hotseat.
Eder Militao and Rodrygo have already joined the club this summer, with the latter having agreed a move at the same time Vinicius Junior joined the Spanish giants last year.
Meanwhile, Luka Jovic has also completed a move from Eintracht Frankfurt for over £50m and will earn around £170,000-a-week according to Sky Sports.
The deal puts Jovic among some of the highest earners at the Bernabeu, although the Serbian striker remains well short of captain Sergio Ramos and Welsh winger Gareth Bale.
Ramos has confirmed that he would like to end his career at Real while Bale is expected to move on this summer, although his bumper wages are proving a stumbling block – but which Real Madrid players earn most according to Total Sportek?
