Liverpool: Shaqiri could 'easily replace' Salah says pundit
Shaqiri experienced a mixed season on a personal level having joined the Reds from relegated Stoke in a bargain £13m deal last summer.
The Switzerland international failed to hit the heights expected of him when drafted in to the starting line up in the second half of the season as Liverpool chased Premier League glory.
And he faces being left on the bench, even if Roberto Firmino is not fully fit, when Liverpool take on Tottenham in the Champions League final.
Shaqiri, despite his inconsistent form, offers a valuable alternative to the other attacking options Jurgen Klopp has at his disposal.
However, it seems the Liverpool boss has grown tired of the 27-year-old not meeting his demands and is prepared to sell.
According to Goal, Anfield chiefs will do business for Shaqiri if the right offer comes along over the summer.
Shaqiri was talked of as a potential target for Liverpool’s rivals Manchester United before he headed to Merseyside.
It is highly unlikely, though, that the old foes would even consider striking a deal for the former Inter Milan wideman.

Shaqiri will be desperate to make his mark if he gets the opportunity to play against Tottenham on June 1.
But Klopp has dealt a further blow to his hopes of featuring in Madrid by revealing Firmino has stepped up his return from injury.
"Bobby looks really good [and] he is now part of training," Firmino said.
"It was not too long out, but of course we are still careful and want to make sure nothing happens.
