Chelsea handed fresh transfer headache with chiefs already preparing for Eden Hazard exit
CHELSEA are facing a battle to hold onto another talisman with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly eager for N’Golo Kante to follow soon-to-depart Eden Hazard out of the exit door.
According to the Mirror, Kante is the man PSG have identified to bolster their midfield ahead of another tilt at Champions League glory next season.
The Frenchman is widely regarded as one of the world’s best defensive midfielders and he has turned the heads of Parc des Princes chiefs.
PSG’s interest in Kante comes after they decided to shelve plans to launch a fresh raid on Everton for Idrissa Gueye.
The Ligue 1 champions held talks with the Toffees over a deal for the Senegal international during the January transfer window.

They had hoped to reignite a move, but Everton have proven reluctant to entertain the idea of Gueye leaving Goodison Park.
PSG can offer Kante a mega-bucks contract with their Qatari owners ready to pump in as much money as it takes to secure success in Europe.
At 28, Kante might see the prospective switch as his last big chance to secure a bumper pay day.
Chelsea may hold firm, however, with Kante on a decent enough deal which will theoretically keep him in west London until 2023.
